It's here! Learn about our new Engagement Suite, a solution that connects data, content, execution, measurement, and AI decisioning.

Introducing: GrowthLoop Engagement Suite

I've been chasing marketing's holy grail for five years and I think we finally found it.

Key takeaways:
  • Engagement Suite is the final piece that completes GrowthLoop's closed-loop architecture, connecting decisioning directly to execution.

  • Content Studio grounds AI-generated messaging in approved brand assets and causal context, turning content creation into another optimized, measurable step in the loop rather than a one-off task.

  • Composable Destinations let marketers trigger campaigns in the engagement platforms they already use (Braze, Iterable, etc.), so adopting Engagement Suite doesn't require migrating off existing tools.

  • With native email/SMS now built in (GrowthLoop Channels), teams can go from audience to content to delivery in one measurable workflow, making Engagement Suite the layer that turns AI decisioning into compounding, continuously learning growth.

Over the last five years, I've unknowingly been on a quest.

Not for better attribution. Not for better personalization. Not even for AI.

I've been searching for what I believe is marketing's holy grail: a truly closed-loop system, one that can observe customer behavior, decide what to do next, execute across channels, measure the outcome, and get smarter with every revolution of the loop.

The funny thing is, I didn't realize that's what I was doing until I looked back at the path.

Every company I joined taught me another piece of the puzzle. Every lesson refined my vision of what I've come to think of as programmatic marketing; a system where AI doesn't just automate work, it continuously learns from customer behavior to improve every marketing decision.

Today, with GrowthLoop's launch of Engagement Suite (including Content Studio, Composable Destinations, and GrowthLoop Channels), I believe that puzzle is finally complete.

Lesson one: If you can't measure it, you can't optimize it

My journey started at Quantcast, an audience measurement and programmatic advertising platform.

Programmatic advertising taught me something that has shaped every role since: If you can't measure it, you can't optimize it. You need the feedback loop between results and iteration. That’s the magic behind programmatic advertising.

Every impression, click, conversion, and engagement became another signal that made the system smarter. Decisions weren't based on opinions, they were based on data that was continuously measured and automatically optimized.

That idea became an obsession. If closed-loop optimization could transform advertising, why wasn't the rest of marketing built the same way?

Lesson two: measurement only works when you can trust it

That question led me to Amplitude, the leading product analytics platform.

I wanted to understand measurement from the ground up. Not just campaign reporting, but customer behavior itself.

What I learned there fundamentally changed how I think about marketing technology. It's not enough to only measure outcomes; you have to measure every step of the customer journey directly. And ideally, you hold the power over allocating  marketing treatments yourself, so you can leverage random assignment for causal measurement.

Every time customer data leaves its source of truth, you're introducing uncertainty. You're trusting someone else's instrumentation. You're reconciling multiple versions of the same customer. You're paying the hidden cost of pipelines, reverse ETL, exports, sync delays, and egress fees. You are not controlling treatment assignment.

And perhaps most importantly, you're slowing down the feedback loop because every copy of customer data makes marketing slower to learn. And while that may have been acceptable when campaigns were planned quarterly, it's completely unacceptable when AI is making decisions in real time.

Lesson three: Great delivery isn't the same as great decisioning

Next came Customer.io, a customer engagement platform similar to Braze and Iterable.

I wanted to understand content and channel execution at a deeper level and answer questions like, "how do you reliably deliver the right message at the right time?"

What I found at Customer.io was an incredibly sophisticated delivery engine, but I also discovered something that every lifecycle marketer knows: Execution isn't the hard part anymore. The hard part is deciding:

  • Who should receive a message?

  • What should that message say?

  • Which channel is most likely to drive engagement?

  • What should happen after they respond?

  • And how do you ensure the next decision is smarter than the last?

We became very good at orchestrating campaigns. But the intelligence driving those campaigns was still fragmented across multiple systems.

The missing piece

That realization sent me looking for one final piece to the puzzle:. I wanted a company that understood AI deeply but also believed customer data should stay where it belongs — in the data cloud. It’s a lot to ask because those two things don't always coexist.

Many AI platforms still require organizations to duplicate customer data, export sensitive information into new environments, or hand governance over to another vendor.

For me, that was never acceptable. If AI is going to become the decision engine for modern marketing, it has to operate within the same governance standards we've spent years building. That means bringing AI to the data, not moving the data to AI.

And that's what drew me to GrowthLoop.

Its warehouse-native, composable architecture isn’t simply a different deployment model, it’s the architectural foundation required to build the closed-loop system I'd been chasing all along.

The programmatic marketing loop

Over the years, my vision has become surprisingly simple. Every modern marketing system should continuously move through six stages:

  1. Observe customer behavior.

  2. Decide what should happen next.

  3. Create the content.

  4. Activate the content across channels.

  5. Measure the outcome.

  6. Learn and feed those learnings back into the next decision.

Then repeat.

With this process, every revolution makes the system smarter, every interaction teaches the AI something new, and every campaign improves automatically.

That's the promise we've been talking about for years. But until now, we've been assembling that loop across disconnected products that introduced latency, governance challenges, duplicated customer data, and inconsistent measurement.

The vision existed, but the architecture didn't.

Completing the loop with Engagement Suite

That's why today's Engagement Suite launch is so meaningful to me. And it’s not because we shipped more features (although, that’s great, too). But it’s because we completed the system, it's because we closed the loop.

For years, GrowthLoop has enabled marketers to build AI-powered audiences and orchestrate customer journeys directly from the warehouse. Today's launch adds the final pieces that allow the entire learning loop to happen within one composable platform.

Content Studio

Every great AI system needs high-quality context. Content Studio gives marketing teams a centralized home for approved messaging, creative assets, campaign copy, brand guidelines, and reusable content.

Instead of every campaign starting from scratch — or every AI model inventing content independently — you can generate experiences grounded in the assets your brand has already approved and customer knowledge baked into GrowthLoop’s proprietary Causal Context Graph

You can use content studio to create and edit email templates from scratch or from existing CEPs or DAMs. Our embedded AI Studio also allows you to use agents to adjust copy based on specific goals.

Once you have trusted content and context, you can leverage AI to create more variations with confidence. Within Content Studio, you can generate messaging variations that stay aligned with brand voice while adapting to each audience and customer context.

Crucially, and we believe for the first time, we give marketers the ability to build content most likely to causally move an outcome, e.g. reducing churn, or maximizing average order value, by leveraging every single piece of measurement telemetry data created.

The important part isn't simply faster content creation, it's that content generation becomes another intelligent step inside the optimization loop. The system can continuously create, test, learn, and improve.

Content Studio allows you to edit and customize templates for multiple channel types, including SMS.

Composable Destinations

Every company's engagement stack looks different. Some use Braze, some use Iterable, some have custom-built engagement platforms, and some rely on in-house systems.

We get it, and we want to meet our customers where they are. So instead of forcing customers into a proprietary channel ecosystem, GrowthLoop embraces composability.

Composable Destinations allow marketers to trigger the exact campaigns, templates, and experiences they've already built inside the engagement platforms they trust. There’s no need to move back into the channel tool to launch the campaign — GrowthLoop handles it all from one canvas.

Whether it’s a marketer or AI Decisioning, we help you build the audience and journey path, and your existing channels execute the experience. That means you can avoid unnecessary migration and rebuilding campaigns, while leveraging the investments you’ve already made.

GrowthLoop Channels

Of course, not every organization wants to manage multiple delivery platforms.

That's why we're also introducing fully native email and SMS powered directly by GrowthLoop. Now, teams can move seamlessly from audience creation to content generation to message delivery, all within a single, measurable workflow. Measurable without breaking the loop.

Whether you choose GrowthLoop's native channels or bring your own engagement platforms through Composable Destinations, the philosophy stays the same:

Meet customers where they are. Meet marketers where they already work.

GrowthLoop Channels includes fully native email and SMS powered directly by GrowthLoop, so you can work seamlessly in one platform.

The recipe for compounding growth

Individually, each of these capabilities solves a meaningful problem. Together, they create something much more powerful.

At GrowthLoop, we've long believed that the future of marketing isn't campaign automation, it's decision automation. Our Composable AI Decisioning engine already helps marketers determine the next best audience, offer, timing, and experience based on continuously evolving customer behavior.

With the addition of our new Engagement Suite capabilities, that intelligence can now flow seamlessly into every stage of execution:

  • AI identifies the opportunity.

  • AI generates the right message (read: the message most likely to move the KPI you care about) using trusted assets from Content Studio.

  • GrowthLoop delivers that experience through native email and SMS, or activates the exact campaign you've already built through Composable Destinations.

  • Customer engagement is measured directly against the governed customer data already living in your warehouse.

  • Those results become new signals for the next decision, adding every causal impact to the Causal Context Graph and powering better future decisions.

  • Then the loop starts again.

What does this unlock? It means every interaction improves the next interaction, every campaign teaches the system something new, every revolution of the loop compounds what the one before it learned. That's the difference between automation and intelligence; automation helps marketers do the same work faster, while a closed-loop system helps marketers make better decisions over time.

And that's where compounding growth comes from; not from sending more campaigns, but from continuously improving every decision on who to engage, what to say, where to say it, and what to do next.

That's the promise of combining Composable AI Decisioning with Engagement Suite, and it's why I believe this is the final piece of the programmatic marketing vision I've been chasing for years.

Combining Composable AI Decisioning with Engagement Suite allows teams to continuously improve every decision on who to engage, what to say, where to say it, and what to do next.

The future isn't more automation, it's Faster learning

People often ask me what excites me most about AI in marketing. My answer is rarely content generation. It's not copilots and it's not even autonomous agents.

It's learning. The marketers who win over the next decade will be the ones with the fastest learning loops, not the ones with the most AI tools. They will leverage systems that observe, decide, create, activate, measure, and improve continuously without sacrificing governance, customer privacy, or trust.

That's the vision I've been chasing across Quantcast, Amplitude, Customer.io, and now GrowthLoop. And for the first time, I don't feel like I'm still searching. We're building it.
