Send customer lists from your Data Warehouse to Braze, targeting email and push notification campaigns in one click, and always keep them in sync.

Common Use Cases

  1. Emails based on sign-up activation — Send emails to help users that fall off in your sign up flow and convert them to active users.
  2. Emails based on any user behavior— Send emails based on user behavior such as "Add to Cart."
  3. Emails to churned customers — Re-engage churned customers via email with an offer.

How it Works

  1. Create an audience in GrowthLoop.
  2. Every 15 minutes, we'll generate an updated version of your customer list and send it to Braze.
  3. At the same time, GrowthLoop will remove users from your audience that no longer qualify and add newly qualified users to your audience.
  4. Braze will match users and create a flag, signifying they are a part of a GrowthLoop audience.
  5. When you create a campaign in Braze, you can select customers in that GrowthLoop audience.

Why use GrowthLoop and Braze?

Braze is a cross-channel customer engagement platform that enables customer journey orchestration. It offers features to help craft personalized experiences for customers, and tools to send those experiences to where your customers already are (like email and text). 

Integrating GrowthLoop with your Braze instance allows you to sync your audiences with Braze campaigns without having to copy customer data to Braze, and helps unlock Braze’s features faster. This lets your marketing teams use any Channels or Tools alongside Braze seamlessly.

After syncing, GrowthLoop will generate an updated version of your customer list and automatically export it to Braze.

Create a customer journey in GrowthLoop that first engages customers with email and, if they don’t open the message, then engage the user with a text.

Use internal data in your Braze campaigns

Syncing GrowthLoop and Braze lets you take advantage of the data you already have, like coupon assignments and experiment labels.

How to set up GrowthLoop and Braze

Before integrating Braze and GrowthLoop, you'll need an audience in GrowthLoop and Braze REST API Key (we recommend creating a new API key for this).

Step 1

Locate the Braze API URL in the Braze platform under Manage Settings > SDK Endpoint. Then open the Braze API Overview website, locate your endpoint, and copy the API URL that matches your Braze URL.

Step 2

Go to Destinations in the GrowthLoop platform. Select Braze.

Step 3

Configure the Destination based on your needs (select sync frequency and the API key).

Step 4

Once you link the accounts, select the audience you created and export it to Braze. 

Step 5

Select your campaign type, export schedule (how often you want the audience to export), and personalization fields. 

Step 6

Export your audience to Braze. To check your audience in the Braze platform, navigate to Segments, then select Custom Attributes as a filter. Look at the options within Customer Attributes and find the audience list that you exported.
