Send customer lists from your Data Warehouse to Marketo in one click and always keep them in sync. Your lists can be sent to target email campaigns in Marketo.

Common Use Cases

  1. Sign Up Flow Activation Emails — Send emails to help users that fall off in your sign up flow to convert them to active users.
  2. Emails based on any user behavior— Send emails based on user behavior such as "Add to Cart."
  3. Emails to churned customers — Re-engage churned customers via email with an offer.

How it Works

  1. Create an audience in GrowthLoop.
  2. Every 15 minutes, we'll generate an updated version of your customer list and send it to Marketo.
  3. At the same time, GrowthLoop will remove users from your audience that no longer qualify and add newly qualified users.
  4. Marketo will match users with their database leads as a Smart List.
  5. When you create a campaign in Marketo, you can select your Smart List for targeting your email campaign.

Marketo is an Adobe-owned marketing automation platform that offers marketing segmentation, analytics, and generative AI tools. Marketo’s tools focus on nurturing leads and using analytics to further sales. 

Connecting GrowthLoop to your Marketo instance allows you to use your GrowthLoop audiences to help sales teams launch campaigns to generate leads,. It also gives you the power to sync your audience data with Marketo’s analytics tools. 

After exporting an audience from GrowthLoop, Marketo will match users from that audience with their database leads as a Smart List. Then, when you create a campaign in Marketo, you can select that Smart List for targeting your email campaign.

How to set up GrowthLoop and Marketo

Send customer lists from GrowthLoop to Marketo in one click and always keep them in sync. Your lists can be sent to target email campaigns in Marketo. To get started, you'll need an audience in GrowthLoop and a Marketo account.

Step 1

Use Marketo’s tools to create an API access token. Locate and save the Client ID and Client Secret for a later step.

Step 2

Locate your Marketo Rest Endpoint. Copy and paste the Endpoint URL to a text file, and delete ‘/rest’ from the end. 

Step 3

Go to Destinations in the GrowthLoop platform.

Step 4

Select Marketo.

Step 5

Configure the Destination based on your needs. Select sync frequency and input the API key’s Client ID and Client Secret, and the Instance URL (Without ‘/rest’).

Step 6

After you link the accounts, select the audience you created and export it to Experience Platform.
