This article outlines the steps necessary to set up Klaviyo as a GrowthLoop destination and begin exporting audiences for activation.
Requirements
To connect the GrowthLoop application to Klaviyo, we need the Klaviyo API key. To find the API key for your Klaviyo account, visit this Klaviyo help page. If you don't have an API key already generated, create a new key by following the instructions in the linked help document. Copy the API key and save it somewhere accessible. You will need it in the next section of these steps.

Setting Klaviyo as a Destination
When you sign into the Segmentation Platform, navigate to the Destinations tab on the left sidebar and click New Destination in the top right corner.

When the Select Destination window pops up, scroll to find Klaviyo and click Add Klaviyo.

Once you click Add Klaviyo, you will need to select/insert the following information
- Destination Name: This how the destination will be named and referred to in to the app going forward
- Sync frequency: how frequently audiences will be synced to the destination
- API Key: API key generated in the requirements section of this documentation

Click Create, and you have successfully added Klaviyo as a destination.
Exporting an Audience to Klaviyo
Now we are ready to export an audience. You can either click on an existing audience or create a new audience. Once your audience is ready, you will click Export. Navigate to Klaviyo and click Start Export.

After the audience as been exported and snapshotted, navigate to the Klaviyo UI. Under Lists and Segments in the left side menu, you should find your exported audience.
